Completed form and staff got back to me within the hour with an appointment, doctor I saw listened and was supportive, offering further advice, knowing how anxious I was feeling. I felt understood. Reception staff were also good, explaining reason for delay. The surgery as a whole, I have always found to be very good in all aspects and is why I recommend to friends and family who do not experience the same quality of care from their surgeries.

My Experience
I had to return from holiday with a really bad throat, submitted a form to then be rung and directed to Cairns pharmacy and heard nothing so went to UTC Buckland and given antibiotics for this infected throat.
The pharmacy made contact with me last on the evening of 24th Aug to say I need to go on the following day- when someone can’t swallow has a temperature and get pushed to another service that still does nothing - not good practise

Amazing, particularly with the children
Fiona is always amazing, particularly with the children. She makes what is a stressful time with vaccinations effortless and keeps everyone calm and happy. My children are more than happy to see her each visit.

Results of a blood test
Dr Duncan phoned me to explain results of a blood test and next steps. She’s very clear, listened and advised, she has a lovely manner. She also answered a query on another matter for me. Dr Duncan makes me feel listened to and comfortable.
