The nursing care and standard of cleanliness stand out at Aronel Cottage. Good programme of activities. My husband suffered from P.D. He died in 2006 in Aronel Cottage. The care provided was excellent - he expressed a wish to remain at Aronel Cottage rather than be hospitalised. The food served was of very good quality and hospitality was offered to all visitors. There were no closed areas ; no "keep out" signs. Julian and staff were always available for discussions, or advice. It had a very friendly family appeal and provided many little touches which could be enjoyed by the residents.

Thank you Aronel Cottage, Bognor Regis for all you did for Dad. It is of great comfort to me to know that he was well looked after and safe, twenty four hours a day during the last few weeks of his life. I am particularly grateful to whoever it was who was with him that night.

Please extend my thanks to them. Please show them the photo of Dad in his youth with my mother, when he was strong and handsome and ask them to remember him like that instead.

I was very impressed altogether with the good atmosphere at Aronel Cottage, with the varied meals and endless supplies of tea and coffee, lots of happy chat and light entertainment.

The Nursing Staff were absolutely marvellous, really caring, very efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I would like to thank you all for the nursing care and consideration which you gave to my dear husband Ron. He was always treated with kindness and respect by everyone of you at Aronel Cottage, and for this I am truly grateful.

We cannot put into words our gratitude to Aronel Cottage Nursing Home for the love and kindness you gave her whilst she was in your care at Aronel Cottage. You truly became part of her family and we would therefore like to ask as many of you that can attend to her funeral.

Cornelia & I would like to thank you all at Aronel Cottage Nursing Home, Bognor Regis for the loving care you took of Tom during the 17 months that he was with you. It mattered enormously to us to know that not only was he being looked after physically but that he was treated by you all with courtesy, patience, respect and that we ourselves were made welcome when we visited or phoned and given tea and sympathy.

Bradley, aged 5, was made to feel special and was very proud of being able to expect juice or even a milkshake when visiting his beloved Grampa.

It was his individual carers who were most important to Tom and his lunches with Bernie and Joyce. Invidious to mention names but we should both like to give special thanks to Jitha who helped us with sensitivity and compassion through his final sudden collapse at the end of his adventurous and much travelled life. As I kept saying to Jitha, I shall miss you all.

His funeral has now been arranged. We shall very much hope to see familiar faces from Aronel Cottage there.
