Treatment always excellent by Magda.
Communication over the past year has been poor, reception staff don’t always reply to emails, and promise to call back when appointments are cancelled and need to be arranged. Unfortunately they don’t always call back and I have to sit in a que listening to music…, with no idea of how much longer I’ll be waiting until Someone answers.

Always welcoming and friendly
The staff at South Normanton Dental Practice are always welcoming and friendly. I have seen various dentists, recently and they are open and approachable. They'll keep asking if you're ok during treatment and you can ask questions and advice.
N.B. I feel that the lab they use in Chesterfield leaves a lot to be desired. They have had to have repeated impressions, they've sent through a plate with NO teeth in it, then, when I was reaching the end of my treatment, they sent a plate with one too few teeth in it! I'm very happy with the dental practice itself... but they're being let down by the lab that they use.

Very helpful and friendly, explain everything very thoroughly. However, phone call made re: additional treatment was not followed through as I was led to believe it would be. Treatment now delayed due to this. Practice was apologetic.

My experience
As always the hygienist was excellent. However I have been a patient with this practice for 18 years and throughout my dental health has been looked after expertly by Maria. Post COVID I have been moved on to Suhael’s patient list. I don’t feel that I have the same history vested in my long term dental health programme and would like to be transferred back to Maria’s patient list.

Welcoming and professional
My Dentist, Anna, was very welcoming and professional - explaining at each step what was about to happen. The deep filling and clean was done with no pain or discomfort and - for the first time in many visits to the Dentist - I left with no bleeding gums or sensitive teeth.

Mr Bardell and assistant were very calming through the appointment and explained all treatments to me. Front of house were also well mannered and met my requests swiftly.
Dentist are not the first place to go, but when I needed help with my issues and treatment all was met with professionalism, and empathy to meet an end of comfort and confidence in the results of my treatment
