Obviously, nobody likes going to the Dentist, and I felt the Dentist and assistant were very good at putting me at ease with their personable manner, explanation of the process and the way the extraction was carried out.

My experience
Reception staff were professional and efficient. Had to re-sign a consent form that hadn’t fed properly when I completed the prior online questionnaire. Didn’t need to wait long before being called and was seen by a dentist I’d not seen before. The check up lasted all of minutes with no check of my ‘bite’, no examination of my jaw, or around my throat or tongue - this has been done previously to check for other matters than just teeth. Also, I asked in the online questionnaire about possible teeth straightening and whitening. Nobody asked me about this so they have either not read what was input or just ignored it. I just felt the whole experience was to get me in and out asap. Very disappointing as previously I’ve had nothing but praise for this practice.

Thank you for taking time to offer feedback on our practice.
On filling our the consent form, there is a small box that often goes unticked, therefore it does not transfer to your records, and we often have to get this redone in practice when you attend.
On checking your records, I can see that there was no note of any swelling and you did not have any issues with your lymph nodes.
I am more than happy to offer you another examination free of charge, if you feel that you would like your jaw, throat and tongue examining in a more thorough manner.
I can only apologise for not reading the questionnaire that you took time to fill in. Quite often the nurse will read this first and instruct the dentist of any questions the patient may have, however I was using an agency nurse this day, who was unaware of this.
I will get my treatment coordinator to ring you from the 6th June, and she will discuss any treatments you may wish to receive and offer you more information.

I cannot recommend their services enough
I have been with Genesis for a good few years now and my I began my latest visit a few months ago having lost a front tooth and came in for emergency repair. From this point on I was ably taken care of by Eva Cain, who without question is passionate about her work. The treatment and care I have received has been exemplary. Each visit was a pleasure, my dentist being informative, thorough, gentle and possessing a wonderful sense of humour. My new tooth is now in and looks marvellous.
I would like to thank all of the staff that I have met, all are polite and make you feel at ease.
I cannot recommend their services enough.
