Patient, understanding staff
Patient, understanding staff. I have a fear of dentist stemming back to my younger years which has stayed with me, but staff at Genesis put me at ease immediately talking through the procedure before they did it. For me, this has helped a great deal. If anyone has a fear of dentist I would totally recommend they try Genesis. Well done and a very big thank you.

Dental appointment
I arranged an appointment for a filling that had fallen out on Sunday. I had only previously had the filling in September. It is a big filling though. The receptionist said it was booked for 11:00 on Wednesday. I had to arrange for time off from work. When I arrived on Wednesday, I was told that I hadn't booked the appointment. I showed the phone call details on my phone. The receptionist said 'I can see that you phoned' and questioned whether I was telling the truth.
She got me an appointment within the hour, which was very good. The querying the validity of the appointment wasn't as clearly that was an error by the practice.
Generally the service has been excellent and the dentists are excellent.

Dental appointment
My appointment was 50 minutes late, no one updated me I only overheard because there was other patients coming in who the receptionist were making aware. After waiting 50 minutes my name was called and I was seen by a different dentist. I understand these things happen but the communication should have been better as to how long I will be waiting and that I won't be seeing the dentist I was booked to see.
