South Normanton Dental Practice

I was told that I should have an X-ray. There wasn't a need for an X-ray's. Just felt that because I have to pay they were trying to get more money out of me. My son is nervous about the dentist & there wasn't any reassurance from the dentist. I was doing my best to reassure him but it would of been nice if she could reassured him as she is the professional. Bed side manger needs some work.

Xrays are recommended when patients have not had them for a while, as part of diagnosis and prevention.
These do not come at an extra cost to your examination charge, as they are all covered under a Band 1 charge on the NHS.

Overall very happy

Pleasant staff, they were all really good occupying our 3 year old daughter. Overall very happy with the staff and practice.

Never have to wait too long

Never have to wait too long for an appointment apart from John the hygienist, but he is great and puts you at ease with his humour.

Really good with my 2 year old

I was really happy with our dental visit, the dental nurse was really nice and friendly. She gave us a free sample toothpaste and explained everything well. The dentist was really good with my 2 year old son and managed to check his teeth without any upset and he got two stickers for being a good patient! The reception staff were lovely and chatty too and the waiting room was nice and comfortable.

Welcoming professional dental practice

Welcoming professional dental practice. Patient care 100% from stepping In to check in personal appointment details at the reception desk. Very warm welcoming friendly professional ladies.
As an incredibly nervous patience I was put instantly at ease prior to treatment, from the dental assistant nurse who gave a very professional warm welcome. Appointment was exactly on schedule with no waiting.
The dentist himself was Incredibly calming patience. Dental room and equipment impeccable! Treatment, professional and of the highest standards.

Thank you kindly for making my dental work as lest stressful as possible. Overall a very friendly, professional high standard dental practice.
