Receptionists, make you feel like a friend.
Dentist- just wow..! I don’t suffer from any anxiousness but if I did I’d be fine here, the surroundings and atmosphere at the clinic are just so comfortable. My son is a patient too and any anxiety he had was left at the door. He actually looks forward to seeing Dr May.

I chipped a tooth and had it repaired. After ringing on Friday I was booked in for Monday. After an assessment and general checkup, I was booked in for the repair quickly.

Dr Bassett is the best dentist I have had, kind, understanding and professional, Hannah the hygienist friendly educational and the receptionists are friendly and helpful.

The staff are absolutely amazing helpful , and so polite, I honestly can’t thank them all enough for the last couple of months I first went there with a big problem , as I thought but it’s been 12 weeks and all sorted , Big shout out too my dentist Patrick bannister , excellent service , highly recommended.

I cannot thank May enough for the tremendous work she has done for me. The skills she obtains to be able to restore teeth is world class. The years prior to seeing May I had almost stopped smiling altogether.

I highly recommend May to anyone who has been avoiding Dentists for fear of being judged on their dental hygiene / appearance. You will not regret it! Personally, I had changed the way I had smiled, even covering my mouth when oversmiling due to lack of confidence in my teeth appearance. May has fixed it all and more!

There was no pressure whatsoever to have a full cosmetic overhaul. I recommend anybody who is anxious about their smile to go and see May, the care and attention is absolutely amazing!

The staff are super friendly and were always happy to assist with any short notice appointment changes. The flexibility to work around your availability is amazing.

The staff are really friendly and put you at ease which I think is important when your really nervous i have visited smart smiles a few times now and Charlie the dentist is really friendly All the staff are very professional I would highly recommend smart smiles

This was my daughter's first appointment with a dentist. Thank you for making it a good experience for her.

I cannot recommend this dentist enough as having had horrendous experiences as a child, I am absolutely petrified of the dentists and only went when desperate.
Luckily I have strong teeth and tried to look after them but could see they were getting discoloured, I had receding gums and chipped front teeth.
About 3 months ago - after 2 years of umming and aaaing - i finally took a friends advice and booked an appointment.
I spoke to Billy (Practice Manager) and I could hardly get the words out as I was so frightened but she was very reassuring and explained exactly what would happen in the first appointment.
From the time I walked through the door (which was very hard as i was shaking like a leaf) I was quickly reassured by the lovely receptionists and no-one treated me like the fool I was feeling like! The atmosphere was friendly, calming and very reassuring.
By the time I got in The Chair, I was incoherent but Charlie and her assistant were nothing less than brilliant.
They showed me what was wrong (lots) and advised what was needed to put it all right and luckily, I didn’t need a filling or extraction - phew!
Today I had my final appointment and cannot believe the difference.
I cannot thank Smart Smiles enough together with every single member of staff who have been just fantastic.
Needless to say, I will be having regular check-ups and I cant say I wont be nervous but I know it will be a lot less than I was in the past.
A million thank you’s to you all!! Xx

Phoned on Friday to register 1st visit on Monday. I’m petrified of dentist, all staff receptionist, dental nurse & dentist were wonderful. Can’t say I enjoyed visit as I’m so scared, but dentist especially was wonderful, got me through so much, I was terrified & had to apologise so many times. Thank you so much, your all angels!

Lovely dentists here and dental assistants! They were brilliant with my son when I was there. The new technology is amazing, too! I was very sad to see Phil go, but I’m glad he left the village with a dental practise just as good and kind!

Booked has seen the signs for taking on new patients.
Absolutely petrified of dentists and anxiety goes through the roof.
Booked in within days for consultation, X-rays, etc.
All reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
I knew what needed doing prior to my visit, so I explained before she x-rayed, this was all confirmed from the X-rays
Treatment plan put straight into place and booked in within 2 days for extraction.

Visited today for extraction, very kind and caring, and extremely fast, originally I wanted sedation, but teeth didn’t look deep so agreed to try the normal way, numbing gel was applied as requested.
Only felt 2 out of all the needles, and they wasn’t that bad,
Assistant was amazing and was there to hold my hand which was definitely needed, was painful due to infection so I requested that we stopped and they did just that and agreed that it was to painful for me to carry on and gave antibiotics for the infection as this is causing the injections not to work properly (everywhere was numb it was during the extraction internally there was pain).
So very caring constantly checking I was ok, the reception staff were absolutely fantastic and all checked I was ok before leaving.

Rebooked for the extraction to be done once antibiotics have taken over the infection, normally I wouldn’t of even bothered rebooking and would of said nope that’s it, but I’ve done it and I’m sure once the infection as gone it’s will be minimal pain.

My 7 year old daughter has always been apprehensive after a previous bad experience. She had a filling today and the staff were totally amazing. I think Charlie was name of the dentist and she was amazing with my daughter, straight into the chair for treatment. I also have had treatment here and the service deserves more than 5 🌟
