I visited May a couple of weeks ago when taking my SEN daughter to her to have her teeth checked. The clinic is beautiful! The staff are great and of course May was superb with my little one. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist! Thanks all.

Amazing dentist best ive been too! Tell you everything they need to do beforehand..they're so reassuring with everything they do befire beginning anything... such a nice friendly environment that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or out of place neither. Im terrified of needles but i found this dentist amazing!🙏it makes you feel so much better while having treatment done as i had/ have alot of work that needed doing im so greatful my work isnt completely done yet but with the results so far are INSANE!💛. so far I'm so happy with my results I'm so glad I came here! Cant wait to see end results soon thank you so much! JOSH has been a gem! 🙏 xx

Needed my teeth checked after years of them being awful. Dentist was amazing on the first visit by clearly letting me know the plan, and every visit since has been brilliant. It is very clean and modern, and it feels like they go the extra mile every time. Would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone.

I have struggled with going to the dentist as an adult due to severe dental anxiety. I have had bad previous experiences with dentists who have been unkind and demeaning. Not to mention rough and painful during procedures! However I really wanted to start taking care of my oral health before it was too late. So I summoned up all my courage and booked privately with Smart Smiles Abercynon. I have just had my first check-up with Dr Ella and I feel such relief! She is wonderful and I'm so glad I had her. She really listened to me (and read my pre-written notes I made on my phone), was super gentle during the examination and explained everything as we were going. Most importantly, she treated me with dignity, didn't judge me for not going to the dentist regularly and was full of empathy. I was much calmer by the end of it and even though I need some work it all feels manageable with Dr Ella. I seriously can't thank her enough. The dental assistant was also lovely. Thank you so much! If anyone reading this was like me, I promise you'll be safe there.

Very friendly very professional. As someone who has not had good experiences with dentists I am so happy that I have found Smart smiles. My aniexty levels before the appointment still rise but the dentist Ella makes me totally relaxed and explains everything. If I could give more starts I would just wish they had space for my whole family.

Such a clean and bright dental practice. Dr May is always friendly and welcoming and she knows all her patients.
I previously had composite bonding there and couldn’t be happier with my smile now.
You can raise any concern you have with teeth or gums knowing you are getting an honest answer to your questions without the judgment.
I tell everyone about Smart Smiles when they ask for dentists, couldn’t hype this practice up more if I tried.
