The hygienist tried very hard with a patient with dementia. But lack of equipment meant a proper clean could not be done. By the time it was available, the patient had been sat for too long and was less willing to cooperate.

We’re pleased to hear that our hygienist showed patience and care, but we fully recognise that the lack of appropriate equipment affected the quality of treatment. This is not the standard we aim to provide.
Following your feedback, we have now invested in additional neck supports so that each surgery is equipped appropriately. This will help ensure greater comfort for our patients and allow our clinicians to carry out treatment more effectively.
