My experience
The hygienist was very pleasant and professional. However, I was present for my appointment at 11am, but I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before being treated. She didn't offer a reason or apology for the lateness. She completed the treatment in about 20minutes and I was then charged £75, which is far too expensive. Unless the charge is reduced I won't be using her services again.

Excellent service today. I had loosened a cap at the weekend which left a gaping hole in my tooth. My usual dentist was away but as expected his partner at the practice looked after me very well. The cap was cemented back in place and within 15 minutes all was done

Thank you for your review , we appreciate your 5 star review, but are clearly sorry that you disapprove our deposit policy.
The purpose of this policy is not to penalise patients, but to reduce cancellations and failed to attends and to maintain a fair and efficient scheduling system
A review of failed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24hours) revealed 34.5 hours of lost surgery time in one month. To put this in perspective, 3 and a half days of surgery time/appointment availability. This is having a ‘knock-on’ effect with appointment availability and creating longer wait times for patients to conclude treatments or for others to be offered an emergency appointment.
This is unfortunately a common problem in our industry and many businesses have adopted this type of policy.
Business current accounts in the UK typically do not offer interest on balances, so that is certainly not the reason.
