I felt the check-up was not done properly having had Tom as my dentist for ten years the experience I had on Monday was very bizarre. I have known I have slightly recessed gums for a while and brush accordingly and look after my teeth. The new dentist didn’t really check my teeth at all other than to blow cold air around my mouth to check sensitivity and then to give me a quote for £800 to apply fillings to cover over the top. I didn’t feel like my teeth were being looked at other than a way to charge rather a lot of money for something I’d never been told I needed before. And my appointment lasted approximately 5-8 minutes. I will now be looking elsewhere for reliable trustworthy dental treatment. Such a shame.

It is worth mentioning that Tom, in previous years, had identified the issue of recession and receding gums through photographs taken in June 2021.
The dentist's emphasis on filling during the conversation was due to your mention of sensitivity.
However, the option of non-intervention was also discussed, and we apologize if this was not clearly communicated to you.
