Happy and confident to smile again

I am really pleased with the service I have had, it has been a very long process, my dental practitioner has always been very helpful and always explained things very carefully to me, at the moment there are a couple of adjustments that need to be made, which I am sure will eventually be done in time.

Explained everything really well

The dentist was very polite & explained everything really well such as why I had to have an x ray & a scan & he discussed my treatment plan so I understood what was going to happen.

Offered a wide range of alternatives

I hated going to the dentist because of fear of treatment. But Eastgate offered a wide range of alternatives to make sure I had the best time on the chair. I am very happy with the dentist, nurse and staff there.

I feel in the best of hands

I am always very satisfied with Lorraine the hygienist. Lorraine is very professional, caring and aware of how nervous I am. I have no doubts that she takes good care of all her patients in the same way. Lorraine gives very sound advice regarding the importance of good oral care. I feel in the best of hands.

My experience

Based on my experience once I’m through the doors. I can’t fault the place. Seen by a nice dentist who I have met a number of times before. My only gripe is the front door for a wheelchair user is appalling. There is an inner and outer door and the most awful door step that sits about 2” proud of the floor. It’s impossible to navigate safely. I always need passers by to help me in. Today on my way out a small ramp was produced which made it easier. I’ve asked about making it a flat threshold but apparently they aren’t allowed to change it?

Great service as always. Sarah is helpful and offers advice. I never feel rushed. Admin staff are friendly but could possibly do with more on reception to lessen queues.
