I wasn’t keen on standing outside in the cold waiting for the doors to open at 2 when my appointment time was actually 2. I would feel particularly sorry for anyone with toothache. 2 queues had formed in different directions from the main door too which potentially could cause problems. Could the doors not open at 13.50 or 55?
I have to say though I was seen very promptly and the dentist I now have is truly lovely.

Lovely dentist
The dentist (my new NHS dentist) was lovely. Very professional and very pleasant. The only downside was the long wait but I understand she’s very busy.

My experience
I had an appointment at 2pm, my first, afternoon appointment, was pouring with rain. So as I did not know you locked the doors. I was stood outside getting very wet and cold.

Brilliant
I have a lot of teeth needing attention at the same time. Puyan was brilliant, he thoroughly investigated which tooth is causing me pain and is not rushing to do work unnecessarily. He did a great job on a tooth on the other side of my mouth, gave very good advice and thorough explanations of the problems. Thank you, I feel like my teeth are in safe hands.

Eastgate Dental Centre
I had an appointment with the dental hygienist who was very nice and thorough as well as actually cleaning my teeth for me she gave me lots of information around how to get a better result with my cleaning and suggested products which I found really helpful, a nice relaxed experience.
