It is such a relief to finally have an NHS dentist, but honestly if I had to pay privately it would be worth it. I've seen Lauren Wong 3 times in 2 months, most recently culminating in my first extraction (which I was very nervous about) and she's been brilliant. Understanding, professional, and has made me feel really comfortable even in the most uncomfortable of situations! I do struggle with my oral care, something that often carries a lot of shame, but she hasn't been patronising at all - just got on with the job at hand. It's hard to be grateful when your face is numb and you can't speak, but I am! She's genuinely a credit to dentistry.

From the second you walk into the surgery reception to when you leave your appointment, you are made very welcome and treated with kindness and respect. Dr Tahir was was wonderful and very thorough and informative.

Calming and very thorough appointment
I had an initial checkup and found the dentist to be calming and very thorough in his examination of my teeth and mouth as a whole. I have made a further appointment for a small filling and a clean.

Had my new patient assessment at Bangor Dental Academy by Dr Danielle Moore. She made me feel very calm and relaxed during the appointment. Modern and clean space, polite staffs both at the reception and the assistant.

Danielle explained the whole procedure very clearly and set out the treatment plan for my next 3 appointments. Both Danielle and the dental nurse were very friendly and professional. An excellent experience overall. Thank you both very much.

I was a new NhS patient. Appt at 5.25 a clean, spacious reception with a friendly receptionist and great art work. I was asked to pay before I went into see the dentist.
His room was again clean and modern, he was friendly and explained what would be happening.
I had x ray for both sides of my mouth, a quick exam and health check in 15 mins for £20.
Clean and Polish available with hygienist for £85 as and when but there was no pressure to do it.

Dr Lauren Wong was absolutely amazing when taking my teeth out. She was gentle, professional, and made the whole experience as comfortable as possible. I felt well cared for and confident throughout the procedure. Highly recommend!

This is the best dental practice around! My daughter is under Dr Danielle Moore, who has been fantastic for a very anxious 16year old girl.
