Very polite reception staff and the two dentists I saw were very professional and explained all the options open to me and the risks involved in the treatment. The tooth extraction was difficult but the dentist and staff were very tentative and kept communicating with me throughout the procedure making sure I was ok.

A pleasant trip
I have a condition called ITP low platelets means my blood doesn't clot normally. The dentist has staggered my treatment so as not to cause excessive bleeding. Both she and the dental nurse were friendly, welcoming and concerned to make me feel at ease.
Consulted me about my treatment plan.
Altogether as pleasant a trip to the dentist can be!

Emergency Tooth Extraction... The treatment process was fully explained to me beforehand and every care was taken to make me feel comfortable both before and during treatment.Having to have an x-ray before treatment, as i suffer with gag reflex during x-rays, it was great to find they had their own x-ray machine which made everything so much easier for both of us.I was also given advice on what to do after the extraction.Both Dr Niall and dental nurse looked after me in a calm and professional way. Would highly recommend.

I am absolutely scared of the dentist, from a bad experience from another dentist. Here they were brilliant with me, from ringing and making the appointment (receptionist went beyond expectations to make me feel welcome). They made a point of making me feel important from when I stepped in. From someone who had a panic attack in the other dentist (didnt think i would ever go back to a dentist) . To having 2 teeth out. Should of had a root canal, but the tooth broke. They went at my pace.
All i can say i wish i found them earlier.

I've been waiting to get an NHS dentist for seven years and my teeth were a mess. I've also had an abscess for two years so I wasn't looking forward to today.
I can't thank the team enough, from the ladies on reception to the lovely dentist and nurse. I was taken care of from the second I walked in.
I had a filling and an extraction. The dentist explained everything as she worked and I was so comfortable. The last time I went to a dentist the dislocated my jaw. This couldn't have been a more different experience.
I'm so happy with the work that been done. Thank you so very much.

This was my first visit to this dental practice. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and waited for my appointment. The dentist who examined me was extremely personable and quickly put me at ease. The whole experience was one of the best I’ve ever received at a dentist. I would highly recommend this practice.

The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The dentist explained everything clearly then showed me what was going on with my teeth through the xrays that she and the dental nurse had taken. I have complete confidence in Bangor Dental Academy.
