I was seen by Dr Sean Aspinal for first contact as new NHS patient. He was very patient and professional and the booking of appointment with the receptionist was also very smooth. The nurse was also very polite and welcoming.

My recent appointment

Had a rocky start, first appointment got postponed for a month then after waiting an hour for my next appointment I was asked to reschedule due to the dentist being behind. Luckily there was a cancellation a few days later. I saw Sean and it was my best experience at a dentist ever. I’m a nervous patient but he put me completely at ease, explaining everything he was doing and checking I was ok regularly. My appointment was also on time which is a rarity these days.

My recent appointment

I was nervous for my first appointment having felt judgement at previous practices. However my appointment went really well, I felt listened to, felt no judgement and was made to feel so comfortable. It was the biggest relief and eased my anxieties. My appointment was with Mrs Moore - thankyou!

Had some issues with the online Portal, but the staff at the academy were brilliant and the dentist did very well of keeping me informed and reassured for my first tooth extraction.

Reassuring appointment

I went to see the TCO (Emily) about braces and she was brilliant. She explained everything thoroughly and was reassured me through the whole appointment. Was very comfortable with her and would highly recommend the service.

Clear and concise advice

First appointment at Dental Academy. The reception was spotless, and the reception staff very welcoming. Dentist Lauren Wong explained what she would be doing and explained the x-ray that had been taken. All very professional. The male dental assistant was very nice and professional as well (sorry, I didn't know your name).

I was lucky enough to find an NHS dentist and now my mouth is so much better
Before, I was frightened to vigorously clean my teeth as they needed filling
Now all my teeth have been seen to and I have had a successful hygiene routine. I give them 10 out of 10
