We understand that it may feel like there have been a number of updates recently regarding pricing and services. These communications are part of wider NHS contract changes being introduced nationally, which we are required to follow and communicate to our patients.
As a practice, we feel it is important to keep patients informed in advance of any changes that may affect their care, including updates to booking processes and potential adjustments to charges. At present, patient charges for the new April 2026 contract have not yet been confirmed, however we are providing early notice as a courtesy so patients are aware that changes are expected.
Our priority remains providing high-quality care and ensuring patients are fully informed, even when these changes are outside of our control.
We truly value your feedback and hope to continue providing you with a positive experience at the practice.

I had a filling done today by Monisha, she was incredible! She put me at ease as soon as I walked through the door and was very gentle, also Lesley her dental nurse was amazing, she was there for my previous appointment with Jennifer (also a lovely dentist) and lightened up the mood and made me feel so comfortable, what a lovely team and a calming atmosphere ☺️

Amazing
The student hygienist Sonia and her assistant were absolutely amazing with me and my anxiety. I felt completely deflated going in and left feeling a sense of confidence I haven't felt in a long time. They are an absolute credit to the university and to the Dental Academy. Thank you for your time, patience and overall kindness.

I needed an emergency appointment and after trying five other practices closer to home, a friend told about Bangor Dental Academy and I managed to get a private appointment that suited me.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the dentist explained clearly what the issue was and what the options were and the costs for the initial treatment. Thankfully the pain has gone and I can eat again!
I need further treatment and have already booked the follow up appointment.
