Dentist was half hour late with no advance notice or explanation. I felt she was trying to get me to take up private work from her and wasn’t confident about what if any treatment I needed when I left.

We’re sorry to hear your recent visit hasn't been satisfactory.
At Dental Academy Bangor, our goal is to provide the highest quality dental care at the best value for our patients.
We do have a duty of care to ensure that all patients receive multiple treatments options (if needed) so as they are fully informed what choices are available to them - including private.
Unfortunately, at times, there may be a wait for your appointment, being an extremely busy NHS provider who also provide support for 111 emergency dental service, this can result in possible an elongated wait time.
I will take your feedback onboard and ensure our Front of House staff communicate with patients if we are able to predict any increased waiting times.
Its a pleasure to be one of very few now, to provide NHS care to our local community and are constantly finding ways to further improve.
We look forward to having you visit again in the near future.

Fantastic service from entry to leaving the facility. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Thorough dental team - the dentist, Lauren Wong, was great - all options for possible future treatment were presented and discussed so I could make an informed decision. Thanks to all the staff for providing such a positive experience.

Put me completely at ease
Great care and attention. I can't thank you enough. I am so nervous but the dental surgeon put me completely at ease having to have a wisdom tooth out, every detail was explained to me about what was about to happen. I was shown a photograph of the tooth and x-rays. Thank you so much, can't recommend highly enough.

The dentist is very reassuring
The practice itself is very clean and welcoming with staff that put you at ease. The dentist is very reassuring and puts you at ease and tells you exactly what he is doing/going to do and why.
