I am not a patient at the practice and was in a great deal of pain with a wisdom tooth, I had exhausted every avenue trying to get help and was told it would be at least 8 weeks for any treatment and was also an extortionate amount of money!
I was left with no other choice but to get help from my doctor to control the pain I was in.
Thankfully, my niece was put in touch with the Dental Academy and helped sort an appointment for me. I paid for the treatment which was so much more affordable than I expected. I really can't thank your team enough for all their help. I am so very grateful for all the care and attention I received from making the appointment to the prompt wisdom tooth extraction. I have never experienced such high standards and professionalism as you have in your practice. I have my confidence back knowing there is a dental practice that still cares about the public. I am also very happy for myself and my family that we can become denplan patients.

Had a wisdom tooth extraction today, Although I was very anxious Evelyn made me feel really at ease as she understood my fears of needles. Evelyn explained everything and I had my questions answered. Couldn’t recommend Evelyn enough, she’s absolutely amazing and has time for her patients :), She was making sure I was okay and feeling comfortable and she asked me if I was still happy to go ahead with the procedure. My overall experience has been amazing, all staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their face making the environment feel comfortable and making the staff easily approachable.

Emergency dental extraction

Check up appointments.
The appointment was a check up for myself and my daughter (who is autistic). Niall was friendly with her and made sure to carefully explain what he was going to examine and show her the instruments he planned to use. His manner put her at ease which was great! He praised her for looking after her teeth so she knows and understands to keep doing what she's doing to look after her teeth. Every visit we have had with Niall has always been the same high standard, not rushed, friendly and fully explaining what he's doing. Can't ask for more, thanks everyone at Bangor Dental Academy!

Wonderful service
I have always looked after my teeth whether nhs or privately but I have never had the wonderful service the Academy gave me ….. highly praised for the professionalism of all my treatment ….. one dentist I had cost me £1500 for a root canal and £75 for one filling …… and that was with a dental plan !!!!!!!!
