Helens Bay Dental Practice
I’ve been attending now for 5 months and the staff and level of care couldn’t be better. Everyone goes that extra mile to ensure you’re comfortable and informed of what’s going on. I’ve had extractions and now an “all on 6” and from day one I’ve been put at ease and treated with care and attention. After my extractions I was called the next day to check the bleeding had stopped and the pain was bearable. From Gareth and Edward to front door reception, everyone is pleasant and very helpful. So glad I found this very competent and knowledgeable dental surgery. Professional and caring. Thanks guys.

Lorraine is a fantastic hygienist great experience at HBD. Great team would highly recommend this practice for all aspects of dental care. Believe me my treatment back in 2013 for full implants changed my life for the better. Could not recommend this practice enough.

I had to get a tooth extracted, but from start to finish the treatment was outstanding!
The staff were all very helpful and explained everything extremely well.
I was sent home with information and advice on how to look after the extraction.
And the whole thing took 20 minutes!

Tooth Extraction
Laura Flinn was excellent along with the lady assisting her during my procedure from the moment I entered the room until the procedure was finalised, they both put me at ease and reassured me that I was in good hands.
From start to finish the whole process was no longer than 10 - 15 mins. I am delighted to report I felt no pain or discomfort at all both throughout the extraction of the rear upper molar and indeed afterwards.
Well done, ladies, on your professionalism and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family in the future.

I was to get an implant. It took a bit of convincing but I eventually agreed. The day came and duly prepped with the added addition of my ear pods the process began. Everyone was kind, helpful and even though I heard noises it was dulled by my podcast. Lo and behold it was over! I cannot tell you how efficient Lydia Edward and the team were and of course Gareth in his new glasses did the numbing in his usual chilled style and the ever calming Glenda. Thank you all. I am sure the rest will be as straightforward.

Best decision I ever made
In December 2018 I visited Helens Bay Dental Practice and met Glenda. I could say that the rest is history but I really do want to say that it was the best decision of my life. I had upper implants and extensive work done to my lower teeth. It has simply changed my life forever. I now smile with confidence. I have been taught how to look after my teeth properly and look forward to my hygiene appointments. All of the staff are simply amazing. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I was impressed from an early appointment with very little waiting time, until the end of the consultation, was a pleasant and professional experience. Dental procedures and costs were fully explained as well as risk mitigation. Glenda could not have been nicer and made me at ease, answering all questions during the consultation.

4 lower front teeth very uneven, worn and basically old looking. Thanks to Sarah Lockheed’s dental artistry a subtle, natural but transformative job. And a nice comfy pillow for me during it. Both Sarah and Rachel could not have been more mindful of my comfort and kept me clearly informed.
