Wow, who'd have thought a dental practise could get a 5 star wow review from someone who has never liked going to the dentist. In fact hasn't been for many years.
Today I had my first initial appointment, and have to say the receptionist and dental nurse (Apologies for not remembering your names) were both very welcoming and polite. The technology is so advanced from when I was last at a dentists, it was, refreshing and surprisingly interesting to see a totally different take on what can be done nowadays and how easy on me it's going to be.
I can honestly say 45 minutes has changed my view 100%. I was only originally going so I could get registered somewhere but the info I received this afternoon, I will be investing in getting my teeth healthy and better looking...

So kind and thoughtful
I had a dental appointment on Friday morning and as I was locking the car my 90 year old husband fell outside.
Within seconds two wonderful members of the staff rushed outside to help him to his feet, took him inside and gave him tea and chocolate.
They stayed with him until I had my appointment and were so kind and thoughtful.
Their attitude reflects the ethos of all the staff in Gareth Small's practice and I couldn’t speak more highly of them.

I have been attending Helens Bay dental practice for the past 15 years and on every occasion I have found all staff members kind, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I would have no hesitation in recommending the practice to anyone. My most recent experience was today and I received the excellent treatment which I have come to expect and I was not disappointed.

You’d think that at my advanced age, I’d know how to properly brush my teeth. However, after a few lectures from the hygienists (Gil, Brianne & Omar), I’m now aware that I hadn’t a clue!
Thanks to them my teeth are now in better shape and I’m better aware how to keep them that way.

I really enjoy being a patient at Helen’s Bay Dental. As someone who would consider myself to be quite a nervous patient, the staff are kind and take the time to talk to me, which really puts me at ease.
