Hygiene appointment this morning with Lorraine Huyton, ably assisted by Alice. The team were very friendly and approachable and highly skilled. Lorraine was very thorough and made some useful observations and recommendations. I highly recommend Helen’s Bay Dental Practice.

I was referred to Helen's Bay dentists by my own dentist as he didn't do implants. From the very first visit I felt completely at ease and knew I was in good hands.
I had needed the implants for some years as I wasn't happy with my smile and often felt embarrassed by the gap so finally decided to give it a go.
Wow! How I wish I had done it earlier. No pain, superb service, very professional and the staff couldn't have been any better.
I would recommend them to everyone.

My Dental Implant story.

Before opting for dental implants I was having terrible trouble with my dentures and was desperate for a reliable solution to prevent them falling down or moving when I was eating or having a conversation. I was terrified at the idea of having what was left of my teeth removed and replaced with implants and a fitted bridge. I initially opted to have the bottom teeth replaced with a bridge and was going to go with new fitted dentures for the top.
I was really anxious before my first appointment for treatment but this soon subsided thanks to the team managing my progress through the process and the way pain was controlled and the treatment managed. I was impressed with the ease of the process and with the results of my bottom teeth. When the opportunity to also have my top teeth done was presented I had no problem opting to have implants and a bridge again. This wasn’t as straightforward as before because I needed to have bone grafting to support the implants. My upper jaw had significantly shrunk having been without my own teeth for a number of years. The thought of this would have stopped me even considering having it done prior to my first treatment. However my experience with the team and the standard of care given made entering into the process for a second time an easy choice and I’m delighted with the end result. People have really noticed the difference and comment on the improvement to my appearance.

Helens Bay Dental Practice has many things to recommend it including state-of-the-art facilities. However, it is the staff who impress most. I don't know anyone who likes going to the dentist! But Sarah's step by step comments on what she is doing as your appointment proceeds go a long way to alleviate any stress you might have. Thank you to the whole team.

How many people fly 3600 miles to attend their favorite dental surgery? From the moment I arrived I was in great hands. Had a crown fitted and root canals done - with zero pain and 💯% efficiency. It was amazing to watch Gareth and the team deploy the most sophisticated equipment to make a new tooth 🦷 there and then, on the spot. Fabulous service. I thoroughly recommend Helen’s Bay Dental Practice. Also fun to get the train back home from the quaint and adjacent Station. I hear many people come from Dublin by train, but not too many fly from Washington, D.C. - just the Finlay Three!

I've been going here for regular dental cleaning for the past year and I'm pleased with the service I've received. Staff is friendly and the facility is nice and recently updated.

The first consultation was the most comprehensive i have ever had and i really appreciated the care i received . Its the one practice i have been in that i have no fear going back to and importantly, know that i am listened to during treatment. And that means a lot being as nervous as i was.

From the surroundings to the staff helens bay dental practice provides a superb experience from start to finish. Extremely friendly, professional and and a pleasent enviroment to be in. They have invested heavily in the latest and most up to date equitment which makes for more relaxing and less stressful dentist visits. I’m delighted with the service i have received over the past year from implant surgery to fillings. If you are nervous of the dentist this place will really make you feel at ease. Ive never felt any pain during any of my treatments. When my next appointment comes around i dont feel anxious or nervous, like i have in the past with other dentists. Id recommend their services to anyone without hesitation.
