I had the most amazing hygiene appointment at Helen’s Bay Dental thanks to the incredible care provided by Gill and Rachel. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at ease with their warm, professional approach.
Everything was explained thoroughly, which really helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire visit. Their attention to detail and gentle manner made the experience not only pleasant but actually enjoyable!

Capable and caring dentist
I’ve been a patient here now for almost 2 years and all I can say is that it’s been worth every penny. If you’ve a problem you call and they usually fix you up in hours, never mind days, especially if you’re in pain or something has happened unexpectedly. The staff are professional yet friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Edward looks after me and even though he’s young, he’s the most capable and caring dentist I’ve had in my 74 years. You’ve a question, Edward answers in his knowledgeable and informative manner. I can’t recommend HBD enough.

Friendly, polite and professional
My dental implant bridge came loose, and I contacted the team to see if they could sort /fix /recement for me. I spoke to Charlotte, who was very helpful, polite and promised she would call me back as I had stated that I was available today. At her word, she called me back with an appointment for a few hours later. She was equally friendly in person.
Dentist ‘ Eddie ‘ was extremely friendly, polite and professional, as was the nurse who accompanied him ( apologies, I never caught her name ).
In and out of the practice in about 40 minutes with a small fee to cover the work provided. Many thanks as usual, to a very reliable, professional, friendly team.

5 stars from me
I’m always nervous about having work on my teeth. This procedure involved removing an old filling and putting a new filling on the cracked tooth. My worry was having to have the tooth removed because of its decay over the years.
The care taken over the whole (2 hour) procedure was superb. Every step was explained to me, and I felt really clear about what was happening. Thankfully the tooth did not have to be extracted.
The dentist took steps to smooth the bite between my teeth and the new filling, and I feel good!
As a team (dentist and his assistant), I could not imagine anything better - they put me at ease and made the whole process as comfortable as it could possibly have been.
I really appreciate the professionalism and care of Gareth and Alice in what could have been a painful and difficult experience. Sincerely many thanks for the effort taken not only to do the best possible job, but also to put me at ease throughout. 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had an all on four dental implant with Helen’s bay dental 🦷 I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a very nervous dental patient I was unsure I could go through with the procedure. But I am so glad that I did. I now can smile again and take part in family photographs. My confidence is amazing and I can not thank Gareth and the team highly enough.
