Routine checkup with Gareth. Had a few xrays of my teeth and implants, didn't require further treatment at this time. Nice to see Edward &Alice. Everyone so pleasant as always.

Hygienist appointment
My visit was to have my teeth cleaned by the hygienist (Jill). Her demonstration of exactly where I am missing brushing certain teeth was the best. I feel better informed now and more confident that my brushing is now getting it right. Thank you.

Everything runs on time
Staff are always very helpful. Everything runs on time.
Other problems than teeth are also discussed.
I have problems when getting the teeth cleaned and the girls have changed the routine to make it easier for me. More than happy to use this Dentist!!

My second implant experience
This was my second implant experience at Helen's Bay Dental Practice. The operating dentist on both occasions was Dr Lidia Ferritto.
On the first occasion one of the teeth extractions was troublesome; having to be removed in pieces. Once the extractions were taken care of with a minimum of fuss, the implant process was carried out seamlessly. The whole experience was painless.
Three years later, I had implants done on the other side of my mouth. I was confident in Lidia's professional competence and ability to improvise when unforeseen obstacles occur. Lidia had to alter her plan for one of the implants, because of a bone abnormality. It took more time to achieve, because of this, but Lidia was able to solve the problem and again there was no pain.
Lidia had a friendly, empathetic manner and this applied to all of the staff that I came in contact with.

I have no hesitation recommending Helen’s Bay Dental Care. I have very sensitive teeth and cannot tolerate a dental cleaning , I was advised to seek a dental hygienist who offer EMS Airflow, which Helen’s Bay offer.
The friendly, welcoming and patient staff helped me relax and carried out an in-depth, pain free cleaning
I am so glad I gave this new treatment a go!!
