A very calm & relaxed environment
On my recent appointment at the practice, I was asked if I would mind being seen by a student; it is a teaching dental practice after all. I don't mind being treated by one of the students; it's pretty common practice for me to be treated by a student at my appointments. After all, they have to learn the practical side of dentistry, not just the stuff they learn in the classroom; they are always overseen by a professional tutor, so there's nothing at all to worry about. The student I was treated by was very meticulous and seemed to be very knowledgeable; the student explained everything she was doing & explained why, however, the tutor kept popping in the room to support & offer advice to the student. The whole experience made my appointment a very calm & relaxed environment to be in. I have been with the practice for many years now & always receive the best treatment. I can confidently recommend the practice.

The visit was a pleasure as always! The receptionist was lovely and helpful. I was seen by Mary a dental student on my last visit, and she was truly amazing. She made me feel very comfortable, knowledgeable and understanding. All my treatment was explained in detail, and did a fantastic job on my treatment.

My experience
My daughter waited 30 minutes to be seen and then the trainee started my treatment, stopped for the dentist to check but he wasn't available, carried on with cleaning prep for my treatment, stopped again to ask dentist but nurse came back and told trainee he wasn't coming so was told they couldn't finish my treatment and had to make another appointment. She is extremely nervous had has been putting this appointment off for years and now dentist advised it needed sorting before it causes problems. Now she doesn't want to go back. Not happy

Got me in the same day
Amazing service. Chipped my tooth and was able to get a next day appointment but was also told that if there were any cancellations, they’d let me know. The receptionist called and got me in the same day with Dr Tai. I am really nervous whilst visiting the dentist but I was made to feel relaxed with painless treatment.
