I was forced into having X-rays I didn't need, using large plates. When I said I couldn't cope with large plates I was told "yes I could". The dentist needs more understanding towards the patient.

I've spoken to the dentist who you saw for your treatment and he would like to apologise if he came over rude but that really wasn't his intention. He said that you coped well with the x-rays on one side of your mouth so thought you would be ok with the other side. Nice guidelines require X-rays to be taken every 2 years or before if the dentist thinks they are needed to aid him to diagnose decay. Unfortunately the X-ray can be a little uncomfortable but he did use the smallest adult x-rays available. I hope that this goes a little way to explain things and if you have any questions regarding your treatment please do not hesitate to contact the surgery.

I would definitely recommend
Going there was really good. I was nervous about having a new dentist. However my new dentist is really kind. He was very professional and patients. He always made sure that I was okay before, during and after my treatment. When I needed them to stop what they were doing they did it and waited till i was ready again. I feel confident and safe was with going there. All staff were kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend .

Excellent team
Staff are friendly, they cater to my needs well. My previous dentist neglected my dental needs, Genesis on the other hand are extremely passionate about their patients and make sure they have got the right treatment for them. I really couldn't ask for a better service from an excellent team of dentists, dental nurses and reception staff!
