Best dentist ever. I am 39 years old and have a complete phobia of dentists, I have been going here for 2 years and he has gently eased all my nerves. Today I have just had a filling and for anyone that knows me will know , that I would never of had that done 2 years ago. He knows every trick in the book to keep you calm. I would never of overcome my fear without him. I don't know his name but I'm so grateful that I found him I will never go anywhere else and can not recommend this dentist enough.

Lynton House Dental Practice
I wanted 4 teeth done on composite, they did 2 but wouldn't do 4 as it was an emergency appointment but I had a slot booked next week, you rang and brought it forward. I'm happy with the work the student did but I've got 2 front teeth different to the other 2 front teeth, happy but wanted to look same.

Thank you for your feedback. An emergency appointment is an appointment to get you out of pain and we are obviously limited to the amount of treatment and time we can spend. If there was anyway that all your treatment could have been done in one appointment then it would have been done for you. It is great to hear that you are happy with the treatment provided so far. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I see Sophie and Bogdan and they are both excellent. I previously saw Sayed when I joined the practice and he was excellent too.

My experience
Very poor service. I was seen by a student which upon booking I advised I had been up all night with toothache and which problem tooth it was. I was in the room 1 hour and 20 mins and all that was done is an X-ray she stood around 25 mins just to ask if she was taking bottom X-rays when I even repeated what he had said, I then she put something cold in the hole causing pain to make sure it was the right tooth and didn’t treat my tooth. I have come away having to look for an emergency dentist for the pain that is that bad I’ve been in tears and was in tears in the treatment room and still didn’t treat my tooth and asked at reception if I could get an appointment with an actual qualified dentist and the response was unless you pay as if private there is no appointments for NHS customers..
So think it’s going to be better to look for a dentist that as the customers best interest at heart and not the money they can make!!

My experience
Appointment was for 14.15 but was 14.45 before I was seen and then the dentist was newly qualified so was waiting for senior dentist to check his work. In all I was in the dentist 75 mins for a check up which is far too long. My regular dentist had recently left the practice and despite requesting a fully qualified dentist who had been there for a while I ended up basically with the new/trainer dentist. Whilst the dentist I saw was fine and this review is no detriment to him personally as he was pleasant and professional throughout I would prefer to see a long term dentist due to the time it takes seeing a new/trainee dentist, plus I don't particularly enjoy dentist appointments and would prefer to in and out as quickly as possible.

These do need to work under supervision and appointments can take a little longer than a more experienced dentist, for this we can only apologise. Really pleased with the experience
This was my first visit to Lynton House and I've been really pleased with the experience. Both the receptionist and the dentist were lovely and the dentist was very informative, putting my mind at ease over a few concerns that I've had. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

Great, explains everything
Been very patient with me this last year had numerous issue due to tmj etc. Bogdan is great, explains everything and very knowledgeable as well as reassuring. Todays visit Emily the dental nurse was great, really put me at ease and friendly. All the staff who have been involved have been great!
