Appointment was within two minutes of the scheduled time which is a great improvement. (despite the dentists assistant apologised for the delay, which was nice).
The Dentist (Fergus) was very friendly and I really felt at ease with his style and helpful guidance. He was also very systematic and thorough. This really impressed me as I had not met him before - thanks!

Regarding your constructive comments, these are always valuable to us and we take the content of these to improve our service wherever possible. I am concerned to read that you felt "barraged with questions" by the member of staff greeting patients on arrival that day. If I could give a little background information here, dentistry still has to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and part of this SOP is to ask all patients and chaperones visiting the practice, a series of 5 Covid screening questions. This is to determine if patients are on the "non-respiratory pathway" which enables us to go ahead with the appointment. Every person visiting the practice each day is asked the same screening questions. You have our sincere apologies if you were made to feel you were the only person being asked. As your review has been left anonymously, I am unable to contact you to offer this apology verbally. At all times, our priority is for the safety of staff and those visiting us on a daily basis. All staff are also screened and temperature checked on arrival each day. They wear masks throughout the day, no matter what role they are performing. I have fed back your comments to the team and I thank you for allowing me the chance to explain the circumstances that we are still working with.
