The whole appointment was good from start to finish. Reception was polite, in good spirits, everywhere was clean and the dentist and her assistant were brilliant.

The best dentist I’ve ever had
The dentist was very informative at every step of the procedure. I felt completely at ease and he was careful to point out small details such as the adrenaline that is in the anaesthetic injection may have been the reason why my heart rate went up momentarily. No dentist has ever explained that before so I just thought that I was overly nervous. Good to know exactly what is happening to your body at times like this. Also he explained how long the numbness would take and I was very comfortable and not worried about sudden pain or my tooth not being ready for the new filling.
He also did not push me to pay for a mouth guard which I was concerned about ( due to cost) but he explained that it was the treatment he recommended but was not mandatory and totally my choice. He made it an easy choice to make and said I could choose right at the end of the appt so I didn’t worry about it throughout the first procedure. His manner was capable, professional and extremely calm. I think he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had and I’ve seen many.
