My dentist was brilliant and as I am 76 and have had lots of dental work done I know what I'm talking about.

Excellent service very thorough, explained fully treatment required.

Simply how quick and wonderful the service is, always a good experience.

Good service, went in before my appointment time.

Seems to take forever to get an appointment, had initial problem end of Feb and had to wait till end of March for appointment, first advised root canal needed, was booked to have it done recently, this was cancelled as dentist was on holiday, changed to a checkup and now advised need root canal and crown, nothing until end August for root canal and that will need to settle before crowning so long wait.

Practice seems to be moving more down private route, works that could and should be on same care plan are dragged out so they can go onto the next plan, price of being nhs patient I guess, got to stay with, if could afford to go elsewhere private I would.

As a very nervous patient was put at ease.

The dentist was very gentle and had no problem, except I was asked to pay for a service that you had already failed to provide ie provide a top and bottom plate. The first fit was before Xmas 2022. It was excruciatingly painful. No teeth for three weeks over Christmas time and New year. First fit, adjustment needed. Small burn made to my lip leaving s blister for a few days. Second visit my lip was split when the dentist pulled my lips apart. The plates just never fitted. After a full day wearing my nose area became numb, my cheek was sore and the bottom plate cut into my jaw. Four days to get better. The dentist filled bits and at my request a tooth, no difference. One mouthful of food and the bottom plate tilted and food and upside down plate had to be spit out. I was then advised to return when sores or redness appeared so the plate could be filed, I gave up. Old plate packed with tissue paper. 6 months, back to square one.
I get an invite to attend the dentist, yes I need a different plate, but to pay again, and pay for the consultation.
Impression taken painlessly and plate sent away. Now no teeth, back to liquidised food.
Asked to see the manager She will phone later. Didn't. I phoned, She will call you later. She did not.
Not impressed.

Reception staff and the hygienist was efficient and helpful.
