Receptionist didn't make eye contact as I checked in.
Hygienist hadn't reviewed my records before inviting me into their room and seemed not to understand my reason for seeing them. I have chronic gum disease but they seemed only to advise on reducing staining. Cleaning was not as thorough and not below the gum line as I was expecting. Polishing was haphazard and poorly executed.
The cost has also drastically increased. Having done some quick research, comparable treatment over the same time span with other clinics is at least £25 cheaper with specialists who have in excess of 25 years of experience.

Hygienist is great. Payment is terrible, a shame that you feel the right to punish people who pay because of people who don't. Really poor practice. Currently looking into the legality of your holding people to ransom - although of course, we have little choice given that dental care is a luxury in this country.

Excellent care

Unfortunately, I have had to visit the dentist quite often recently, but have found the whole experience a really positive one. From the reception staff to the dental assistants and of course the dentist.I have had quite a lot of treatment over the last few months which has been done quickly and with care. I am quite a nervous patient and would have found even going for a check up stressful, let alone going to the hygienist. All round care has been excellent.

My experience

I was surprised not to see the dentist who has treated me before & to go to another without being asked first. I think this was uncomfortable for the new dentist starting off.

Helpful

I had a bad toothache so appreciated the offer of a timely appointment, and the staff were helpful in getting me seen on time especially as I had a taxi waiting.
The dentist also tried to explain possible causes of the toothache and did her best to find a solution but I found it all a bit unclear- not her fault but no simple diagnosis.
