6 month review following provision of dentures
Still the friendliest and most professional dentist I have ever encountered. You don’t hear this these days but I don’t ever leave feeling they are making unnecessary appointments. I am fully involved in decisions relating to treatment and the cost involved. Follow up calls were made to me following treatment which totally made me feel I was not just another number. I feel totally safe in their hands.

Gentle and caring approach
My 1.30-hour appointment with Tara for an on-lay was much easier than I expected. As this was a long and new treatment to me, I was a little nervous but Tara is so lovely and reassuring that I coped with all the work well. I really appreciated her gentle and caring approach. Everything was explained and she gave me a rundown of how the cast was setting, which allowed me to remain calm and even relax a bit. I’m so glad she is my dentist.

A visit to the hygienist
This was a routine visit, and as usual the hygienist worked efficiently and thoroughly and offered useful advice where necessary.
Unexpectedly, it was necessary for me to take my three year-old grandson along to the appointment. All of the practice staff were extremely understanding and welcoming and chatted to him whilst I had my treatment.

Emergency appointment for damaged crown
Unfortunately I damaged a crown on a Tuesday afternoon. I phoned the dental practice and they were able to offer me an appointment the next morning with Tara, my usual dentist. I thought I would need to have a replacement crown straight away but Tara reassured me that it was only the bonded coating that had been damaged and the crown was fine as long as I was meticulous in cleaning the area. She put some sort of a coating on the crown to help seal it I think and I was able to go away and eat and drink normally after about an hour. It will probably need to be replaced at some point but I was very grateful for it not to be an urgent issue. I was very pleased to have been able to get an appointment so quickly and be reassured by her.

Unexpected tooth extraction
Having damaged a tooth at the weekend I phoned for an urgent appointment and was seen at 2.30 the same day. The tooth was extracted quickly, efficiently and painlessly. In fact I was out of the surgery within 10 minutes of arriving. Good job, well done.
