Excellent service, friendly and very reassuring

As always, I received excellent dental care at Cottams today. I'd booked an urgent appointment within a couple of working days. I was seen promptly, examined, had an x-ray & painless treatment under local anaesthesia. The dentist was professional & reassuring in his approach. He gave a clear explanation of the problem, appropriate advice & a follow-up appointment was arranged. I have no hesitation in recommending this dental practice.

I have been a patient of this lovely practice for nearly 17 years now. My dentist Mike Richard’s is the BEST dentist I’ve EVER had in my entire lifetime!!
He’s patient, kind, friendly and he genuinely cares about how I’m doing. Due to a health issue I decided to have ALL my teeth out and have dentures, after having fillings and some teeth removed I decided to ask Mike to remove the rest (against his advice)!
But he was professional as usual and after 3 appointments it was all finished. When I got my new dentures I thought they’d be clumpy or uncomfortable..but after 2 appointments to shave them down they fit like a glove ..AND I can Eat with them in, but the best thing about them is they LOOK completely Real..no none can tell I’m wearing dentures instead are shocked if I tell them they are not my real teeth!!
As far as I’m concerned Mike is THE Best dentist Anyone could want. My Son is also a patient of his, and he has a long waiting list of people lining up for his services. Which makes complete sense. I’m privileged and so greatful to have such a professional, dedicated, gentle, funny (we’re always cracking jokes), and talented dentist. It really does make all the difference.Keep up the awesome work Mike. Five Stars 🌟 Always!!

Hanna the dental nurse was so professional and efficient. Dr Dave Cottam as usual excellent, thorough, professional and makes the whole experience so easy and calming.

Pam the hygienist was on time, explained the condition of teeth and undertook scaling and polishing very efficiently.

I was checked over and he answered all my questions thoroughly and professionally.
I will look forward to treatment for implants in the near future

Me and my family have used this dentists for years and for 2 generations so far! both on and off the NHS. The service we have received has been second to none. The staff are friendly and always ready to respond and help in anyway they can.

We now have a different dentist after David Cotton retired, however our new Dentist is lovely she is professional and explains everything, and all the options that are available.
I could not ask for better care from the moment I walk through the door to the moment I leave.
