Cottams Dental Practice

First-rate

I have been with the practice for many years ~ I’m fortunate to have an NHS dental practice, and a first-rate one, on the doorstep.

My regular dentist is Shila. Clearly highly competent. Thorough. She’s alert to issues such as gums, decay etc; good on prevention as well as essential maintenance/remedial/emergency work (eg a check-up, a deep clean, a filling or a crown etc).

I’m aware that, like opticians, dentists can be the first to spot some cancers ~ I’m confident she would also do that.

Interpersonal skills are also strong; friendly and calm (such skills also matter). I’m fine about “going to the dentist”; not everyone is! So, a reassuring presence matters.

First-rate.

Nothing is too much trouble

Been coming here for years now. Nothing is too much trouble and their communication is second to none. Staff are always helpful. Best dentist I've been to by far.
