I went to the handsworth wood dential practice on the 7 February 2025 they were very helpful and friendly they explained the situation to me

Very quick, but diligent check from Rajan. Explained everything in an easy to understand manner.

Heavily pregnant and given an urgent appointment. Super professional and I was given a very thorough assessment and treatment. Reassured throughout the appointment and cannot thank Rajan enough.

I was very satisfied overall with the service provided! The medical advice and the procedure was excellent!

I have not been to the dentist for some time now and have been neglectful, I am also a nervous patient and do not cope well with change. The dentist and dental nurse I had today were brilliant to say the least, and reassured me all the way, through the treatment.

Always made to feel welcome at front desk even before I go upstairs into the waiting room, dentist Waseem, she is absolutely amazing, she made me feel comfortable & took time with me knowing that I suffer from mental health & also her 2 different assistants they too are amazing

When I called up on 15 January to book in for a filling to be replaced, the receptionist Samia booked me in for Monday 27 January. However, when I arrived at the dentist for this treatment they told me I was booked in for a check up. I explained that I specifically booked in for a filling as some of the existing filling had come away. The dentist looked briefly at the one tooth and stated that I'd have to book to get the filling done. When I came to reception I was charged for a check-up £26.80p even though I hadn't received a check up, the dentist only looked at the one tooth to have a replacement filling. I was in the chair less than 2 minutes and was charged £26.80p to be told I need to re-book for a filling when that is what I had originally requested at the time of booking with Samia on 15 January. I now have to return for a filling, and pay for whatever filling is appropriate, and still have not received a full check up even though I was charged and have already paid for a check up. This is outrageous. Either the £26.80p will need to be deducted from the cost of my replacement filling. Or at the time of having the filling, I also need to have a full check up done as I have paid for a service i.e. a check-up that I have not yet received. I usually write good reviews for this dental practice but on this occasion it is the exact opposite. I feel that I have been wrongly charged for a service I have not received especially as I had specifically called up to book a replacement filling based on previous conversations with the dentist where I mentioned that was what I was going to book in for next as the filling was deteriorating. I have been wrongly charged for a service that I did not book in for thanks to the receptionist - Samia booking me in for a check up and not a filling as I originally requested. This needs to be rectified and I need to be refunded or actually receive a check up appointment that is a check-up. Outrageous!!!

Very good service and advice provided

My appt which I attended I thought would be to remove my broken tooth. To be told it was a consultation and having to pay because I am a private patient. Then to be told if the dentist starts to remove the tooth and it breaks I would have to find another dentist so overall I wasn't very happy.

Welcoming, pleasant, arriving very early for my first appointment but courteously saw me without me having to wait for my original time of appointment, very pleased and impressed, well done all

Excellent dentist, always explain carefully how you need to look after your teeth.

It was my first time at the dentist I was scared but it was so good.

Managed to see dentist on first visit, was extremely good.

Given my medical condition, I was amazed the dentist saw me and gave a scrape and polish to the teeth that needed it. She was nice and friendly, and efficient.
