A wonderful hygienist
Very helpful service. I was seen by the dentist who is very patient and explains matters very clearly. I was seen by a wonderful hygienist who was very patient and understanding, as I am very nervous. Wonderful service from this practice.

Emergency appointment
I phoned in the morning for an emergency appointment as I was experiencing pain in the upper rear teeth. No spaces available as fully booked. The receptionist went over and above to open up a space, I understand the final decision is up to the dentist to take on the additional work. My abscess, gums and teeth now treated, medication also prescribed. I went from a depressed person in pain to a happy person within the hour after treatment. 10/10 for the receptionist and staff at Handsworth Wood Dental Practice. Definitely will not be going anywhere else for ALL future treatments ( including cosmetic treatment I am planning)

Previously when attending our appointments on time, at 9am and 2pm, the staff have been late and barely apologise. Whilst if we're late or miss appointment we are threatened with cancellation of appointment.

The reception team was pleasant, and my dentist today was polite.
She asked about the reason for my visit and showed me the x-rays.
I felt the dental nurse appeared more confident and knowledgeable than the dentist, who may be new to the role or practice.
My teeth were checked, cleaned but not polished, and was advised that the hygienist is more skilled in deep cleaning.
My previous dentist Dr Yasser would conduct a thorough clean and polish.
Advised by the reception Team to book an appointment with hygienist who only works on Tuesday.
Will review my diary to align with the one day availability.
