Dental appointment
I had not had a dental check up for approximately one year. No one got in touch with me to let me know when it was possible to attend the surgery. I had to make an appointment finally because I had a small oral ulcer developing. When the dentist examined the ulcer in the roof of my mouth he never bothered to check out the rest of my mouth. I was quite surprised considering I had not been seen for quite a while by a dentist. I noticed though that the practice was keen for me to pay up front in case I had not kept the appointment. So, does it mean that if I genuinely in future can’t attend an appointment I will lose my advance payment? All in all I am very disappointed with my treatment.

I'm a private patient so I can only comment on my experience I am not the best person when it comes to going to the dentist I'm so frightened of the dentist don't know Why but I am so it took me quite a while to find the dentist where I felt in control and to trust the dentist. So I'm so pleased I found a dentist who understands my fears. I don't know if you'd get the same treatment if on NHS. But I did find 1 receptionist very rude and blunt. She let's the others down. Apart from this. I cannot fault the other girls on reception. The serviced I have received so far has been excellent

Great experience at Handsworth Wood Dental Practice with dr. Yaser Zeitoun and the nurse Ellie. Very friendly, kind and professional. I can tell they are really passionate about what they're doing because everything in my treatment went perfect. I needed to get fillers for 7 decays and then 2 extractions, all before my orthodontic treatment, so the doctor did his best to book me in every week and finish in time. I can't express in words how happy I am with my teeth now and look forward to getting my braces on by the end of the month. Thank you so much to all staff in the clinic and especially dr. Yaser Zeitoun!! I will definitely come back for regular check ups and will reccommend the clinic to everyone who asks about dental services. ❤

Kind, and very knowledgeable
Whenever I have visited smiles dentist I found my treatment always outstanding.
Mr Drummond (Dental Technician) who carries out my care, I have found him to be very professional, kind, and very knowledgeable.
He ensures the treatment that he delivers is to a very high standard. He is very polite, and always asks how you are, are you comfortable, answering any questions that you have.
Marcus is a role model, to all up and coming Dental Technician’s out there.
