Great dental practice
I became a patient when I moved down here to Yapton in 2018 after a recommendation from a friend. During the pandemic, I developed a very bad toothache which eventually had to be removed. Dr Mahoney found me an appointment for the extraction. The care from Dr Mahoney and all the practice was outstanding. Also when my wife fell over last year outside the house and hurt her teeth, I made a phone call and she was seen within 90 minutes at the practice after making the phone call and driving her all within the time. Would highly recommend the practice without hesitation. All the staff are excellent, especially the new hygienist Yasminaara who I saw today. Very caring and happy to explain dental care in full and also takes her time.

I cannot praise them enough
I have been a private patient at this practice since around 2003. I have received nothing other than professional and caring treatment from Dr Mahoney. I would also like to recommend the hygienist Helen who is extremely professional and attentive. I cannot praise them enough.

The best dentist I have ever been to
From the first time I attended Felpham Dental, I found it had a calming atmosphere. All the staff from Davina, my dentist, Helen, my hygienist to Chrissie on reception have always made me feel welcome, very polite and caring, the work Davina has done for me is outstanding, she always explains everything to me. This is in all honesty the best dentist I have ever been to.

Above and beyond
I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you and all your team for all the help & support you all gave me yesterday.
Your dental nurse really went above and beyond and her kindness was second to none, this is something that we don't often see these days. She held my hand the whole way through the entire procedure, hugged me, took time to explain to my husband - much more than I could have expected. Also, my dentist, from my arrival to the departure, talking not just about my dental work and the emotional/mental impact it has on anyone, but also absorbing and understanding my personal pain.

Abrupt and Rude Dentist
I recently had to have a crown replaced and although the actual crown itself is of good quality the dentist that completed my works could not have been ruder. The dental practice had on two occasions messed up the booking times, meaning he was "double booked" so he was stressed and rushed . His rushed approach not only made me very uncomfortable, his bedside manners were appalling. I left in shock after he fitted my crown, having shoved it in my mouth it was very sore, but he wanted to get me out without even checking the bite was ok, which it wasn't. I had to ask for this and was met with a load of huffing and puffing as again he just wanted me out of the door given the double booking.. He then flossed so abruptly he sliced my gum and said " you are not a brave one are you" in a condescending tone. I had registered my whole family here , but I will be moving us all.
He also on a separate occasion barged into someone else's appointment while they were in mid treatment to shout at another dentist about a booking mess up. Absolutely appalling

Thoughtful caring dentist and hygienist
I always feel as if I am in 'safe hands'. The practice is very welcoming. The dentist and hygienist are both very experienced and make the treatment appear simple and straightforward when obviously not. The course of treatment is put forward in a clear and concise way and easily understood. I always feel involved in the decisions regarding treatment and do not feel in any way pressured, it often feels more like friendly advice.
