My experience
Generally good. Staff friendly and check up thorough. However, slightly shaken aback that I have to wait 3 months for treatment for a tooth infection. When booking me in the receptionist booked for the same day as my long awaited hygienist appointment. When I queried whether this was a good idea, her response was that she would just avoid the area where the root canal work had been done - so only part of my mouth is being serviced. Not impressed. I am a private patient, paying a monthly amount on Denplan and yet it feels like second-class service. It begs the question, is this because my dentist is now working reduced hours at this practice and the level of customer service has been equally reduced?

Many thanks for taking the time to review our service. At Horwich Dental Practice we take all feedback seriously as a way to improve our service. As we don’t have access to your records it is difficult for us to investigate the issues you have experienced. The time between appointments you have raised does seem unusual unless you are restricted on the times you can attend or are not in pain. With regards to a hygienist appointment after a root canal this is perfectly safe but we can always rearrange this appointment for you should you wish. Horwich Dental Practice
Although not my favorite trip out, it's never as bad as you envisaged. From the friendly, efficient Receptionists, to the skill of the hygienist Louise Todd Miller, who negotiates the sensitive areas painlessly and her assistant eager to give you a shower and finally Dee and her assistant James. Probably the best duo since Morecambe and Wise, carefully probing and wobbling any suspect Molars that can boost the Holiday Fund.. James was particularly pleased because on this occasion he had got me in 2 minutes before my appointment time. Well done all of the staff. See you next year and can I be the first to wish you all a Very Happy Easter !!!
