James knows the Drill and Dee fills in
It's always an anxious time for me when attending the House of Pain but James and Dee go to great lengths to reassure the nervous patient. On this occasion James himself invited me into the surgery while Dee offered Coffee and biscuits ( No chocolate ones I noticed ). Today was the day James got to grips with a tooth that has provided his father with many holidays over the years. James offered anesthetic but when I saw the Mallet I declined. He then set off with the drill that would have made an Australian Opal miner proud. Fortunately Dee was on hand with words of encouragement and her calming bedside manner. After approximately 2 hours my old tooth had been given a new filling, sanded and polished to a very high standard. ( Not as good as his Dad but not bad ). After a kiss and hug from Dee, I left clutching my "I've been very brave " badge and made my way down the winding stairs to Reception. It is always a pleasure to speak to the pleasant staff on my way out and was quickly given an appointment for my next ordeal.

I switched to Horwich Dental Practice around a year ago and have not regretted it one bit. The quality of care is far beyond that of my previous dentist. Just wish I had moved sooner.
