Horwich Dental Practice

Once again its time for the 6 months check up. Invited into the House of pain, on time as usual, by James. After a quick check, a slightly wobbly tooth was soon spotted by James. He informed me that it would be better to extract it along with its neighbour. I consulted with Dee who agreed with him. I am reluctant to have any more teeth removed as my Denplan isn't any cheaper with fewer teeth. We eventually compromised. Next on the list of delights was a trip to Louise, the Hygienist, assisted by new assistant Sue. After making me comfortable, they set about with ruthless efficiency to power wash what's left of a full set. Sue showing great prowess with the suction tube. It wasn't that bad. Louise and Sue made a great working team. I wondered if they might be sisters. Finally back to Reception to make another appointment to look forward to.

Staffed by knowledgeable and supportive staff assisting the dentists and hygienist.
Treatment options and their respective pros and cons are discussed with you and a written estimate (treatment plan with per-activity pu costs broken out) provided.
They run an effective appointment reminder process that helps keep the attendance rate high and reduces the risk of missing appointments.
