We can't praise them enough
My husband and I have only been with this practice for about two years - we moved to be with Nim who had moved from our previous dental surgery.
The team is friendly, patient, completely professional and caring.

Superb dentist
This dental practice is extremely welcoming providing excellent communication when booking appointments or any general enquiry. My dentist, Nimal is superb; always extremely thorough and explains in fine detail what is required to be done. I leave my appointments in good dental health with confidence and reassurance.
This is a highly professional service in all departments.

My experience
My experience was underwhelming and I left the appointment feeling ripped off and uncomfortable. I was made to pay £100 upfront for a thorough examination, when all I wanted was a replacement filling for one I’d had at the practice four years ago. There was nowhere to rinse throughout the procedure and I had to swallow repeatedly. The whole appointment lasted no more than 30 minutes after which I was charged a further £181. Total £281 for a small filling and copious mouthfuls of saliva!

We acknowledge your frustration regarding the cost and the procedure. Our goal is to provide thorough care which, when we haven't see a patient for a number of years, will always include a comprehensive examination to ensure the best treatment plan. We are sorry if you feel this was not clearly communicated to you at the time of booking.
regarding you comment about the rinsing bowl, modern dental chairs do not always have built-in rinsing facilities and our nurses use a high volume evacuator (HVE) to manage this, but we apologise for any discomfort you experienced.

Great care was taken over the treatment
I was early for my appointment but waited only a few moments before being seen. Great care was taken over the treatment & when it seemed likely that I would be out sooner than expected a receptionist called my carer asking for earlier collection.
Alington Dental is expensive but I couldn’t be more pleased with the way I am treated.
