A good experience
My dentist had left this year, but the new dentist (Nimal) was equally careful and reassuring so that was great. Also saw a hygienist who was new to me but she was also very careful and thorough, so altogether a good experience.

As always, a good experience
As always, I was greeted with kindness and efficiency. I was seen exactly on time. My first port of call was to Nim who advised me on the correct amount of local anaesthetic needed to dull the sensitivity of my lower front teeth prior to scaling and polishing. The Hygienist, Jade, displayed her usual professionalism both with my treatment and afterwards in advising me on the way forward.
It was, as always, a good experience.

Replacement crown and hygienist
I had a crown replaced by Thomas. The crown was made and fitted whilst I waited. It was painless and quite relaxing with very nice music in the background.
I also had a hygienist appointment with Jade which was comfortable and painless.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Alington Dental.

Replace an implant crown from a previous dentist
I asked Simon to sort a cracked and problematic implant crown (not originally done by him). Not only is the new crown excellent (fits so well and matches other teeth perfectly) but his manner and dental expertise cannot be faulted. Always so patient with me
I cannot express my thanks enough to Simon and Sam. They are always so patient with me and allow me to do whatever I need to feel ok. Sam encourages gentle conversation to distract from the injection and Simon tries to guess the song I'm humming after administering the anesthetic. Overall, an experience I assumed would be awful, was far better managed than I could ever have thought. Many thanks to Sam and Simon.
