Simon dealt with my wife's phobia brilliantly

We found Simon 10 years ago as my wife had always had a phobia of dentists and had been putting off treatment for some time. Simon took the time to understand her concerns and put her mind at rest before beginning a course of treatment that spanned several visits over 18 months. Simon is the only dentist she has ever felt comfortable with. I switched to Simon shortly after and have always found him to be professional and collaborative. Always explaining options and listening to concerns which is great for someone like me who likes to understand what is going on.

I actually enjoy my visits

As usual everybody I met was friendly and polite, knew what they were doing and made me comfortable and welcome, I had a filling and it didn’t hurt although the tooth still throbs a bit, I actually enjoy my visits, I can’t afford them but I do enjoy them!

I've always had first class treatment

I've had many appointments before lockdown to replace old crowns, mainly with Mr Simon Belford. I've always had first class treatment. I found a dentist I could trust as I'm a nervous patient. I always found all the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend Alington Dentistry.

No waiting, full explanation

No waiting, full explanation of procedure to be carried out, prior notification of expected costs. Despite being' in the dentist's chair', it is certainly possible to feel very relaxed.

My mother's recent appointment

I accompanied my mother to and from the surgery where the bridge that had come out was cemented back in successfully, and a follow-up to check it had remained secure and do a replacement filling. Both short episodes were undertaken with the minimum of fuss, minimum of expense, and maximum satisfaction. My mother, who is 91, diabetic and recovering from a leg ulcer, was looked after well and reception staff took her out the short wait to avoid strain on her leg.

I would love to say that visits to have my teeth repaired was an enjoyable experience, but all the staff are friendly and professional, the work done is always first class and chat and laughter always makes the visits O/K.
