Emergency appointment

As always I was greeted pleasantly at Reception. I was seen promptly even though I had made my emergency appointment only a few hours earlier. I have visited many different dental practices in my life but can honestly say this one is the best by far and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

Calm, professional and gentle

I used to have huge anxiety visiting dentists, right through to my twenties! However, Caroline then took over my care with her calm, professional and gentle approach to dentistry and over the years a trust has developed and I feel lucky to have her as mine and my son’s dentist!

I thoroughly recommend Alington. I have been a patient of Simon’s for over 20 years and the care and attention he has always shown is second to none. It’s a funny thing to say that I enjoy going to the dentist, but I actually do! This is because the whole team are lovely, everyone is warm and friendly, and they make you feel relaxed while you’re there. As well as general check ups, I have also had orthodontics (a brace), a root canal and crown, white fillings and whitening treatments. I also use Liz for hygienists treatments. I have recommended many people to the practice and I often meet other people I know in the waiting room, so their competence is obviously well known!

A filling came out on the morning of Monday 30 July. I called the surgery and by good fortune Mr Belford had an appointment available the same day at 4.15pm. By 4.30 I was on my way home with a completely satisfactory replacement.
