Poor rating because service has gone downhill since Rodericks took over. Check-ups have been reduced to the bare minimum. The previous quick clean and polish for the front teeth has been scrapped. Nor was I offered a mouthwash - or a tissue to dry my face, I had to ask. Was I supposed to leave with a wet face? Six-monthly check-ups are being pushed, whereas previously they were annual - so potentially incurring extra cost. All this most likely Rodericks policies rather than at the volition of the individual dental practitioner.

Good afternoon and thank you for your feedback. Firstly, we would like to apologize that you feel our service has not been as good since Rodericks have taken ownership of the practice and something we always work to improve. In regards to the scale and polish you mentioned, as an NHS patient, we do still offer this service but only if clinically necessary, therefore, if the clinician felt it was not needed, this treatment will not be offered. Again, every patient is different and regarding 6 monthly/12 monthly check ups, again, this is decided by the clinician and the patients oral health. With many patients not having appointments throughout the pandemic, this may play a small part for more regular appointments but I can reassure yourself that this is nothing to do with money or Rodericks policies and at the forefront of our care are the patients. Unfortunately, as many, we find ourselves under huge pressure which we face as an NHS practice and appreciate your concerns raised. I hope this answers some of your questions, if you do want to discuss any of the above further, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind regards, Practice manager :)
Overall, how was your experience of our service?
