Made me feel at ease
I chose very good because from walking in to the dentist I was greeted with a smile from the lovely receptionists who are friendly and helpful, I’m an anxious person when going to the dentist but my dentist made me feel at ease, explaining what she was going to do and any plans or work needed, very patient.

The check up was very professional
My visit on the 25th November at 12 P.M. I was called into the dentist's room on time, I had previously been seen by the receptionist on the desk. She was pleasant and efficient and well presented. I was invited to take a seat in the waiting area which was clean and tidy and nice and warm and well lit. Others were also waiting; everyone was seen in an orderly well organised way.
In the dentists room I was greeted and made welcome. The lady dentist and her male assistant were also very pleasant and well presented. The room again was well lit, clean and warm.
The check up was very professional and I could not find fault with it.
I went to the reception desk to pay and make an appointment for six months time, I was offered a choice of suitable appointments. I chose one, booked it and was bid good day on leaving, I had a good experience!

My experience
I had check up around 3 months ago. I snapped 2 fillings so made appointment 3 weeks ago, told receptionist I needed 2 fillings so please give me a longer appointment. I claim Universal Credit so should get free dental work. Was only given a check up telling me I needed 2 fillings which I told receptionists when making appointment. Was charged £27.40 and told I will have to pay another £39.99 when I go back on 13th Jan 2026 for the 2 fillings. Today was a total waste of my time and also the dentists, I already knew I needed 2 fillings. Also why have I had to pay when I filled the forms in when I came for my original check up 3-4 months ago

My experience
I need to walk with a stick. I am therefore slow at walking so had to allow extra time to arrive at any destination. I arrived 10 minutes before the dentist was due to open at 14.00. It was raining and I had to wait outside. At 14.00 the door was still locked so I knocked on it hard.
One minute later someone from reception came and unlocked the door and immediately returned to reception without making any conversation with myself and 3 others behind me waiting to get in.
Why couldn’t I have been admitted earlier to get out of cold & rain and wait inside where it was dry, warm and I could sit down to wait, especially with my disability???
