Anthony Giles gave me a scale and polish today, he was very gentle and i found it hard to find a dentist that is as gentle as he is. I highly rate him. The dental nurse also was highly professional.

Hygienist appointment
Once inside, the service was excellent (thank you Adam). Unfortunately, the hygienist was running late and I spent 40 mins outside in miserable weather waiting to be called in. I do understand the difficulties of the ‘new normal‘ but some shelter outside or a system of texting people waiting in their cars if they have driven would be desirable.

Completion of a course of treatment all effected in a professional manner, with efficacy and patient discourse throughout. No concerns on my part regarding measures undertaken for CV 19 so that was considered a real bonus in view of my potential vulnerability. Yesterday had a filling in an upper back molar with Ants and Georgia.
I used to hate going to the dentist....but I almost look forward to it now. Couldn't understand a word that Ants and Georgia were saying to me but their body language sufficiently good to calm me and keep me informed as to what was going on. As usual Ants was a total Pro; my injection (I used to quiver just at the thought of these) was easy and painless and the filling is working perfectly today. Result. 10/10.

Friendly, helpful
Despite all the restrictions I was greeted as I have been since I joined the practice 16 years ago, staff still friendly and helpful, practitioners still friendly and helpful and professional on every aspect of treatment and follow up treatment and requirements/advice. etc,.
Everyone at this practice really do care about every individual patient on their books, I'm always very early and witness how they treat other people, not just me!

Emergency appointment
When brushing my teeth last Friday my crown became detached leaving an exposed tooth. Expecting a long wait for repair, I was delighted when I was offered a same day appointment, where the issue was resolved.
I have been registered with Elgin Park for over thirty years and have always been delighted with the service received and have recommended it to many friends.

Excellent. I was really impressed with the trouble you have taken to continue to open safely, with well thought out procedures to keep both staff and patients as safe as is possible given the circumstances.
It was also a pleasure to see someone so happy in their work! Rachel was very positive and also humming away to the radio music. When "I'm so excited" came on I thought she was going to start dancing!
(But the care and advice she gave was also extremely sensible and helpful!).

I have been seen by Anthony and I was very happy with his treatment, explaining what he was doing as the procedure went along, and thoroughly explaining at the end what happened and the potential outcomes after the procedure. I thought he was very friendly and reassuring. The other members of staff were also nice.
Happy with the covid-related measures the practice has taken too, and the PPE the staff were using.

A lovely dental practice. The staff are meticulous, the building is beautiful and they have the best possible hygiene standards - which is particularly reassuring in the new Covid era. The staff were really calm and relaxed despite having to adapt to government restrictions. Antony sorted out my teeth in no time and the whole experience was a dream.
