The dentist on the evening of Saturday 31.05.2026 was disinterested, dismissive and smelt of cigarette smoke. Lacked care for the patient.

I was referred by 111 and the dentists I saw were very rude and inconsiderate about listening to what is wrong. They also prescribed me the same things I have had about 4 times that did not work and told me to try taking them again. All they were doing to patients was giving out prescriptions and not even looking at what was wrong. Even the receptionist was so rude and I did not feel welcome. I hope I never visit this practice again.

The two ladies who saw me were lovely and down to earth. They made me feel comfortable. They are truly a great asset to the team. They deserve a raise

Dr Sola Asaolu is absolutely fantastic!!!
As someone who absolutely hates going to the dentist, and has had many bad experiences in the past, finally finding a dentist you trust is the best thing. From the very beginning of my treatment, Dr Asaolu was kind and made me feel completely comfortable. I went to a couple of dentists before this one, and enquired about a treatment I needed done to one of my teeth (back molar root canal). I was told I’d have to go private and even then it would be a difficult tooth to fix. It was my cousin who recommended me to Brixtons Dentistry for you after completing a similar procedure, so I thought I’d give it ago. At this dentist I was never once told my tooth was too complicated or that I should go private. Dr Asaolu simply told me what we’d be doing and we went from there. This review is long as at other dentist practices in my past I have been made to feel helpless or ashamed. This has been my first truly positive experience at an NHS dental practice in a very long time, so I really just want to convey my gratitude and appreciation for that. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou !!
