Start to finish had a great experience, all reception staff great. I saw a Root Canal specialist who was extremely experienced which made me feel at ease and thankfully everything went smoothly. Would recommend.

My previous dentist has been very keen on extractions. I had to push for a referral for a bodged root canal I had decades ago. Brixton Dental Care's first choice was not to remove the tooth, and have so far managed to save it.
If it doesn't work out, it won't be because they didn't try.

Attended this dental practice for an emergency appointment due to a painful gum issue. While the reception team were genuinely lovely—warm, helpful, and efficient—the rest of the experience raised serious concerns about professionalism and patient care.

On my first visit, the dentist I saw was abrupt, dismissive, and gave the clear impression he was trying to rush me out as quickly as possible. Any time I attempted to explain my symptoms or ask questions, I was cut off mid-sentence. He seemed far more focused on his mobile phone, even chatting casually about missing his sister’s birthday and needing to buy her a gift—during the consultation. I found this both unprofessional and unsettling, especially in the context of what was supposed to be urgent medical care.

Two weeks later, I returned for a follow-up appointment. Once again, the front desk staff were welcoming and polite, but that’s where the positives ended. Upon being directed to the chair, I was told to wait "two minutes" for the dentist. I ended up waiting at least ten, with the dental nurse sitting nearby watching videos on his phone the entire time. When I asked for an update, he simply repeated that the dentist would be there soon.

When the dentist eventually arrived, he was not dressed in professional attire—it looked as though he had just come from a wedding or party. He also remained glued to his phone, and barely acknowledged me. He didn’t even examine my mouth, instead going straight to the computer and saying he would refer me for an extraction and prescribe antibiotics, all without discussion or explanation.

I left both appointments feeling uncomfortable, unheard, and frustrated. While I understand this clinic may serve as an emergency resource, patient dignity and basic professionalism should still be a priority. Sadly, that was not my experience.

I hope management takes these points seriously, as this is not just a case of being dissatisfied—it’s about patient safety, communication, and trust.

Appointment was on time, the dentist gave me clear indication of my need for treatment with the aid of an x ray. He clearly indicated the next steps and told me the expected time scales. His manner and that of his assistant was pleasant throughout

Had two visits one as emergency and follow up. Reception staff amazing and so helpful always with a smile and the lady dentist I saw was superb especially as I have ADHD and she was very accommodating with this. Can't recommend highly enough

The new dentist I was referred to was very nice, she suggested what needs to be done, and for me to make my decision.

I have not been to this dentist in over 20 years, but I found the staff and the building have improved. I felt very comfortable and listened to.

Very good dentist went in a emergency appointment there really nice they always try here with me They do as much as Nhs will allow them to do Obviously theres limitation with nhs that the practice Generally is a good one
